Today Max wouldn't listen to Mom when riding his bike. And when he finally came back to where his Mom was riding he decided to go over a patch of land where they planted grass....and we told him to stay off there, otherwise it won't grow...

This is what happens when you don't see the wire...

Simplex bicycle

I bought a 1953 Simplex bicycle today, it had a very nice bosch front light. But I'm replacing it by the brass Filuma headlight. Bought it real cheap and it's in perfect shape!

bmx ramp

I build a bmx ramp for Max this week. No accidents on the ramp so far....but....he busted his front tooth on a curb today...

Tube light

I made this casing today. The tube is made of copper plate, rounded and fixed with a crimped seem. The section for the glass is made of brass, crimped and formed with a....can opener!
Works great on small objects!

Brass casing (taillight)

This brass casing I got from Piet is a real good beginning of a taillight casing.
I just made it a bit shorter and and added some red plastic glass I found in my shed. I think clear dark red glass is gonna look better, but we'll get to that after I sorted the inner electrical stuff out.
This baby is gonna look cool on my bratstyle CB500! sorry crack ointment guy!

Brass Horn

When I was at the iron shop I found a huge container stacked with old copper and brass waste. Max and I rescued this beaten up horn. Maybe I can fix it up again....
